We needed it, so we made it.

Long days and tight deadlines: that was our week. We wanted something to keep us focused without the jitteriness of coffee or the sugar crash of most energy drinks.

We looked everywhere. We already knew mate and what it could do. It was the answer. But what was on the European market wasn't: too sweet, too artificial, and almost always powdered extract, not leaf.

So instead of complaining about it, we decided to fill it ourselves. We Mate was born out of a real need that was our own.
